Vaura

The studio is ammmmmmazing, we love it. We have attended classes with 3 different instructors and they all are great. Very highly recommended for people living around DIFC It’s a bit pricey so buying a package would be a great option For evening classes make sure you take road traffic into consideration, that area is always busy. Finding the right parking of the building might also be tricky, so add that to the journey as well.

The class size is just nice and the class variation is good. The environment and set up is inviting and enjoy going for the lessons here. The waiting area is clean and has lockers for us to keep our stuff too.

I’ve been really enjoying my classes at Vaura! 🤍 The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and always attentive to form. Every class is challenging in a good way, and I love how each session feels different. The studio atmosphere is also super welcoming, making it easy to stay motivated and keep coming back. Definitely one of my favourite Pilates studios so far ✨

I recently completed VAURA Pilates’ 5-session trial and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The instructors are exceptionally professional, attentive, and encouraging, creating a welcoming environment for all levels. Each session was thoughtfully structured and both challenging and rewarding. I have already noticed improvements in my strength, posture, and overall well-being. VAURA Pilates has exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality Pilates studio.

On the spectrum of classical Pilates to inspired by Pilates workout class, I’d definitely place Vaura closer to “inspired by pilates.” The studio is pretty nice. It’s in a basement but has a lot in terms of amenities like showers, mirrors, and water bottle filling station. You select your reformer when you check-in so arrive early if you’re particular but I think the mirrors around the walls and ceiling somewhat distort the the perception of direction so you’re probably fine with any reformer. The instructor was pretty friendly when I went and walked around the room so you weren’t always favored or penalized based on position. The classes are quite loud and have pump up music so bring earbuds if you’re sensitive to noise or use a pair of theirs. The instructor asked about injuries before class, which was appreciated. There weren’t a lot of physical or verbal corrections so you should look at the mirrors to see what others are doing if you’re unsure. I felt like the Vaura class was a nice workout and I will take another but this won’t replace my more classical or modern pilates classes at other studios.

Never signed up for reformer pilates before because I always found it a bit daunting but the staff and instructors at Vaura are so lovely and welcoming. The studio space is nicely thought out and the class times are convenient, everything is easy to book through the site/app. Loving the classes overall and just finished my first 10 classes and keen to keep going.
