THE OPPORTUNITY

Viva Leisure - one of Australia's largest and fastest-growing health and fitness organisations - is seeking passionate and energetic Reformer Pilates Instructors to join our Club Pilatesstudios on a casual basis.

We're currently recruiting across our Brisbane studios in Rocklea, Carina, Kedron and Margate , as well as our Canberra Club Pilates studio in Tuggeranong. Whether you're an experienced instructor or looking to take the next step in your Pilates career, this is an exciting opportunity to inspire members through high-quality Reformer Pilates classes in a supportive and welcoming environment.

BRISBANE STUDIOS - TRANSITION FROM REBALANCE TO CLUB PILATES NOW COMPLETE

Club Pilates is one of the world's largest and most recognised boutique Pilates brands, offering premium Reformer Pilates experiences in modern, purpose-built studios. As part of Viva Leisure's growing portfolio of health and fitness brands, our Club Pilates studios combine world-class programming, industry-leading equipment and exceptional member experiences with the support and opportunities that come from being part of one of Australia's leading fitness organisations.

Following the successful transformation of our Rebalance studios, all of our Brisbane locations in Carina, Kedron, Margate and Rocklea now proudly operate as Club Pilates, joining our growing Canberra studio. These beautifully designed studios have been completely revitalised to deliver the premium Club Pilates experience, creating an inspiring environment for both members and instructors.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) - Certificate III in Fitness or Group Exercise Leader (GEL) Certification - Relevant Certification for Group Fitness (Yoga, Pilates) - Strong knowledge and passion for the fitness industry - Understanding of fitness training methods, exercise principles, and relevant technologies - Skilled in applying first aid procedure - Ability to read, understand, follow, and promote safety procedures - Experience in sales and customer service, ideally within the fitness or retail sectors - Strong verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse members - Compassionate, organised, and capable of guiding members in a safe and friendly environment - Excellent multitasking abilities to manage member interactions and class delivery effectively - Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-equipped facility

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver high-quality group fitness classes with professionalism, including setup, pack down, and safe use of equipment - Role model Viva Leisure values and uphold high standards of behaviour and conduct - Motivate and support members, ensuring correct technique and fostering strong member relationships to encourage retention and growth - Collaborate effectively with club staff and the broader Viva Leisure team - Maintain compliance with Work Health & Safety policies, reporting hazards and incidents promptly - Stay current with certifications and adhere to all relevant fitness industry standards and facility procedures - Promote gym services and assist members with enquiries, escalating issues to the Club Leader when necessary - Ensure class coverage by notifying the Club Leader in advance if unavailable to teach
